University of Utah Entrepreneurship Club Recruitment Posters
As the lead marketing personnel, I managed marketing and recruitment for the club. We ran multiple marketing campaigns ranging from print to viral marketing. One of my favorite campaigns included several black 4ft by 4ft cubes distributed on campus with a large QR code that directed people to sign up for an innovation tournament. Here are a few samples of the designs for the marketing campaigns. The software used was Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
GH-TEC Product Development and Graphic Design
While I was in the US Army, a coworker and I developed a product prototype and product brochure to get financing for production. Due to patent issues, project was postponed. The product was an interactive display to be placed on store shelves with a unique detect audience mechanism to interact with customers. I utilized Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign for the brochure and Adobe Flash for the product prototype software.
N2K Website Flash Intro and Interactive Product Demo
In 2006, N2K wanted to update their website to show how the company started as well as an interactive online product demo. I utilized Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Flash for this project.
Pacific Research Tradeshow Presentation
In 2004, I developed a digital presentation for Pacific Research’s tradeshow display. The presentation would run on a LCD screen attached to a server rack with a working product that was used for demonstrations. The presentation ran on a loop and could be played with or without sound. I utilized Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Flash for this project.

H3 Industries Custom Ecommerce Website
One of the projects that I spearheaded at H3 Industries was an expansion into the outdoor industry. We started with the development of an e-commerce website positioned towards a niche segment in the outdoor industry.
HerzogStudio Corporate Identity
In 2006, I designed and developed a corporate identity for my consulting services. The focus of the corporate identity was to emphasis an “All in one marketing solutions” through a mix of yin-yang and element imagery. I utilized Adobe Illustrator for this project.

iControls User interface
iControls needed to update the user interface for their product’s software to be more user friendly as well as more aesthetically pleasing. I utilized Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for the interface.

AceCamp Public Relations and Product Development
One of my duties during tradeshows was to interact with media providing information on AceCamp’s product line. These interactions led to several articles and product reviews in regional and industry publications.
I also co-designed 8 products that were debuted at the 2013 Summer Outdoor Retailer Trade Show, which due to product reception led to further expansion into the product category.
Pacific Research Website
In 2003, I designed, developed, and administered Pacific Research’s website. The website consisted of over 30 pages and utilized flash. I utilized Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Flash for this project.

H3 Industries Cohesive Branding
One of the primary responsibilities of my position at H3 Industries was to develop a cohesive branding strategy that effectively combined multiple different brands into one family of brands.
For this project, I established a set of guidelines for all of the brands and developed the modified logos. The logos on top are the new branding effort, the brands below are the original designs. I utilized Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for these designs.
H3Camp Tradeshow Booth
One of the projects that I led was a trade show booth design. The requirements were for the tradeshow booth to be lightweight, portable, unique, cost sensitive, durable, and able to put together in under 30 minutes with a staff of two. The design utilized a collapsing table structure made out of wood. Overall, the booth and inventory can fit in an intermediate sized SUV and put together in 20 minutes with two personnel.
